While RMHC is an independent charity, McDonald's Australia
Limited plays a vital role by covering all administration
and management costs ensuring every cent donated to RMHC
can be spent on programs helping seriously ill children
and their families.
The support provided by McDonald's Australia Limited extends
far beyond the financial assistance provided at corporate
level. Every member of the organisation, from the CEO,
to owner/operators and junior restaurant staff, is educated
in the vital work RMHC carries out and encouraged to help
out in any way they can.
Be it huge efforts, like that of Jim and Rachael Johns
(owner/operator, McDonald's Batemans Bay) who provided
inspiration, drive and resources to create Fiona Lodge
(the first Ronald McDonald Family Retreat), or time contributions
of crew volunteers, McDonald's is absolutely committed
to furthering RMHC and its work in helping Australia's
seriously ill children. |
